Starting A New Week

I enjoyed my weekend.  The grandkids went home last. 
This morning I made more burp cloths to add to the shop.  I used flannel and the batting is fleece so it is really soft.  I plan on making some little girls PJ's.  So I better get to work.

New Grandbaby Mika

Mika was born a couple of weeks ago.  She weighed over nine pounds.  Isn't she precious.

Shopping Day

 

Bought some really cut material to make four little girl dresses. I have enough material to make two dresses from each material.

I sold the Cars Quilt from my Etsy Shop.   This is my first sale from my shop. YEPPPPPIIIEEEE!!!

A Day Off

I did absolutely no sewing today.  But I took some online tutorials  about making my own sewing patterns.   Then I found some designers of  childrens clothes patterns and purse/bag/tote patterns that will allow me to make and sell their designs in my shop.  I added them to my favorites and will be buying them soon.  So be ready for some cute Spring clothes for boys and girls to come.

A NEW DAY NEW PROJECT

I not sure why but no one is leaving comments.  I hope I am not boring. ):

Today I am making another stroller cover/apron for Leah and then I plan on making some reading glass cases with a bookmark attached to it.  This is so you can find your reading glasses when you are ready to read your book.  I want to acknowledge  and thank Anna Chadwick at marmadaisy.com for the pattern READING COMPANION I am using. She got this pattern published in the 2011 Sewing Calendar. What an honor.
I will also make a business card wallet.  Because I got my new business cards yesterday.  YEAH!

Well I decided to list the stroller cover in my shop.  I will make Leah another cover tonight. 

Good Morning

Today I will be working on some rag quilt blankies with tags.  I call them my rag tag quilts.  I use cotton, flannel and/or fleece.  Fat quarters, an 18"x22" piece of fabric, to make the blankies.

The little girl I care for while her mommie is at work was very excited over the new stroller cover and stroller apron for her doll.  I didn't post a pic of the apron  last night so here it is guys.  She already has it loaded down with stuff.

What I accomplished today.

Today I washed and line dried fabric and  I made a new cover for a doll stroller. I take care of a 2yr old little girl and she kept reminding me to fix it.  So I fixed it.  My day is done goodnite all.

My First Blog!!

Well I finally did it I opened a Blog.  I am not very good at expressing myself in writing so this is going to be a real challenge for me.  I am looking forward to sharing my daily activities and projects with everyone.
